Welcome to our page, where we just hang out and have fun.
I’m Kimberly a stay at home wife and mother to 3 beautiful kids. My oldest is 5 she is very outgoing and loves to be the center of attention. My middle child is the sweet lovable 2 year old, who wants everyone happy. If you are sad expect a hug from her. My youngest is 9 months old, he’s learning to walk and is into everything.
I babywear, breastfeed, cloth diaper and we homeschool. That seems like a lot to do in 1 day but its worth it. I get to stay home and watch my babies grow as I teach them what they need to know. It’s a very rewarding job.
Babywearing is something I just picked up after having 3 kids. Grocery baskets have a seat and a basket so there’s room for 2 kids and groceries comfortably. When you have 3 kids it’s hard to push a basket and hold one kid or make the oldest walk when she doesn’t want to. So we decided to babywear. We do it everywhere now, even at home, it has helped us get a lot done that we normally wouldn’t have been able to.
Breastfeeding has got to be the hardest most rewarding challenge I have ever faced. From latch issues to poor weight gain to thinking about giving up….all the way to succeeding until 9 months. If anyone ever tells you breastfeeding is easy and everyone can do it, they obviously haven’t had a tongue tied baby that couldn’t latch.
Cloth diapering is one of those things that isn’t for everyone but it works for us. You have to be committed to cloth diapering as it is very time consuming. If you do your research you can cloth diaper for a pretty reasonable amount of money compared to disposables. I’m a diaper shopper so if I see a cute one I like and its on sale I have to get it because well, its on sale.
Homeschooling is something that just kind of happened. We didn’t plan on doing it but now that we started I couldn’t think of anything I would rather do. I learn so much about my 5 year old on a daily basis. I get to encourage her to keep going even when she thinks she can’t. It’s very rewarding to see her figure things out and see how happy she gets when she finally gets something. I wouldn’t trade that feeling for the world.
